In response to COVID-19, Chant develops a portable UVC Light 5 minute facemask sanitizing unit. This leads to a contract building pallet load sized UVC Light sanitizing systems for US Navy.
Chant celebrates delivering its 300th Testing Machine to the Lifting and Rigging Industry.
Chant adds a line of Hydrostatic Test Bunkers to serve customers in the Oil and Gas / Fracking industry to its product line.
Chant Engineering sells Hull Industries to Trinks, Inc., so it can continue to focus on its core mission and corporate goals, Chant Testing Machinery.
3rd generation joins Chant, new corporate website is launched and our founder, L. James “Jim” Chant, passes away on June 15, 2017.
Chant is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA) the International Standard designed for the accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
Chant becomes the exclusive North American Distributor for Dynamic Load Monitoring Systems (DLM) products and adds load links, load cells, load monitoring equipment, and shear pins to its product offering.
Chant Engineering receives its AS9100:2009 and Rev. C, ISO 9001:2008. Chant also acquires Cumberland Equipment’s line of reeling machines.
Chant becomes the exclusive North American Distributor for Friedrich Höppe GmbH DIN 3090 and 3091 thimbles.
Chant manufactures its longest test bed (1500 Metric Ton / 3.3 Million Lbs. x 350 Ft. Long).
L. James Chant steps down as president and Phil Chant steps in as Chant’s new President. Chant builds a new larger facility in New Britain, PA.
Chant Engineering expands its product line by acquiring Hull Industries, a manufacturer of equipment and systems for plastics processors using thermoset, composite and thermoplastic materials.
The company moved to a new location in Horsham, PA and was renamed Chant Engineering Co. Inc.
