Our wire rope annealing machines twist and anneal the wire rope by applying current to heat it while clamped. The red-hot rope is then twisted, resulting in a slightly rounded shape that prevents the wires from unwinding.
For more pointed wire ends, the distance between the clamping chucks can be increased, which is ideal for excavating machines and other applications. We offer both manual and automatic annealing machines.
MANUAL ANNEALING MACHINES
Our manual annealing machines are easy to operate and feature clamping jaws that don’t require altering for different wire rope diameters. They have a short annealing time, compact design, and are maintenance friendly. Operators can manually adjust the elongation when twisting off the wire rope to form the end to the desired shape. The machine comes with safety glass to protect against sparks during operation and a tube for connection to a ventilation system for efficient smoke exhaust. Optional wheels are also available to make the machine mobile.
AUTOMATIC ANNEALING MACHINES
Our automatic annealing machines are also easy to operate and have a short payback time. They are manufactured with safety and environmental concerns in mind and are mainly intended for cutting preformed wire rope using shears or disc cutting. We offer a wide range of automatic machines to choose from.
