Chant Engineering Launches High-Capacity Reel Payout to Boost Cable Handling Efficiency
New Britain, PA – [June 4, 2025] – Chant Engineering Co. Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance industrial equipment, is proud to unveil its latest innovation in our reeling equipment business: the Parallel Reel Payout (Part Number: M99-01438). Purpose-built to streamline wire and cable handling on jobsites, this new reel system offers user-friendly functionality, robust performance, and excellent value all in one rugged package.
Designed with direct input from the field, Chant’s new reel payout addresses common frustrations electricians and distributors face when pulling multiple wires. “We’ve listened to our customers and engineered smart features that make this reel quicker and easier to use on jobsites,” said Alex Harris from Chant’s sales team.
Built extra heavy duty and boasting a 7,000 lb. capacity, the Parallel Reel Payout is ready to handle tough job-site demands. It features four connected, free-spinning compartments that deliver synchronous payout, ensuring smooth, even cable pulling for multi-conductor applications. Six arbor holes support various wire gauges, from 0.25″ to 1.36″, giving users flexibility with different spool sizes and wire types.
What sets this system apart are its flip-up, locking caster wheels; a unique feature that allows operators to either roll the unit into place or use the integrated four-way forklift pockets for transport. When not in use, the wheels flip up and securely stow on the frame, maximizing stability during operation.
“If you are an electrical distributor, you want this new design for your customers,” Harris added. “Electricians love this new design because it’s built for real-world efficiency and ease of use without breaking the bank.”
The Parallel Reel Payout accepts wire spool diameters ranging from 15.5″ to 44″, and its compact design ensures easy storage and mobility.
Chant Engineering has these units in stock and ready to ship today.
