Chant Engineering Co. Inc. manufactures both standard and completely customized high-pressure hydrostatic test bunkers, test chambers and testing systems using heavy-duty steel plate. These turnkey, bunker-style hydrostatic pressure testing systems are typically used to test pumps, iron pipes, and valves used for pipeline in the oil and gas industries.

Our hydrostatic testing units are fully contained for operator safety and include touch screen controls, camera systems, auto bleed systems, and real-time test monitoring. Chant’s proprietary DataTEST™ software is used for control and data acquisition.

HYDROSTATIC TEST STANDS

300K CLAMPING/ 10,000 PSI STATIC PRESSURE hydrostatic TEST STAND

Chant Model 10730-01 300K Hydrostatic Test Station Horizontal Stand is hydraulically operated. It consists of a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), a Hydrostatic Test Station and a Hydrostatic Water Console.

The HPU includes the operator control panel, hydraulic motor and pump, and input power wiring. Load testing will be performed from the hydraulic power unit’s control console and the Hydrostatic Water Console.

 

Hydrostatic Test Station

Model 9600

Chant Model 9600 Hydrostatic Test Station is a dual test station machine.

The user inserts the parts to be tested; the machine clamps the units in place and then brings the pressure up to the desired test pressure and holds it for the set time. Complete test data acquisition is available for all Chant Hydrostatic Test Systems.

Mobile Test CArt

Model 9600B

Chant Model 9600B is a mobile test cart with a shelf at the rear on which two test specimens can be installed end-to-end.

It has an air-operated water pump with manual adjustment of an air pressure regulator to provide up to 10,000 psi of water pressure. Pressure gauges with calibration ports for air and water are mounted on the control panel together with manual shutoff valves for water and air, a fill valve with sight glass to show that the flow meter is filled, and a test pressure release valve.

The lower section of the assembly has a water tank. A convenient fill port is provided for the addition of make up water whenever needed. The pump fills at approximately ½ gallon per minute and can pressurize up to 10,000 psi.

Pneumatic Test Station

Model 9000C

Chant Model 9000C is a Pneumatic Test Station which is air and water operated; it consists of a pneumatic test station and a ballistic water tank.

The pneumatic station comprises a steel reinforced enclosure. The interior is lined with stainless steel to form a tank suitable for holding water to approximately 4 ft depth with polycarbonate windows on all four sides to allow viewing a specimen under test when immersed in the water. The top of the enclosure is partially covered, with an opening to allow use of a hoist to install or remove large test specimens.

Chant Model 10311-01 40K Clamping / 10,000 Psi Static Pressure Vertical Test Stand is used to test high-pressure valves and other products. This semi-automatic test stand includes a 48″ wide operator control console, touch screen display and monitor, and two ballistic enclosed test areas. One enclosure is for water/glycol testing and the other is for hydraulic testing. 

 

10,000 PSI Hydrostatic Test STAND

Model 9727

Chant Engineering Model 9727 is a 10,000 psi Hydrostatic Test Stand, used to test large test specimens. This machine is hydraulically operated with 300,000 lbs. of specimen clamping force. It consists of a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), a Hydrostatic Test Station, a Horizontal Stand and a Hydrostatic Water Console.

The HPU includes the operator control panel, hydraulic motor and pump, and input power wiring. Load testing is performed from the hydraulic power unit’s control console and the Hydrostatic Water Console.

Operator loads the test specimen and fills the unit with pressurized water. The stand then tilts to remove any trapped air, and the test specimen is pressurized to the desired pressure/time. Operator drains end of unit. Complete test performance is stored and recorded via Chant DataTEST™ data acquisition software.

30,000 psi hydrostatic Test STand

Chant Model 10891-01 Hydrostatic Test Stand is used to test high-pressure valves and other products. This semi-automatic test stand includes a 48″ wide operator control console, touch screen display and monitor, and two ballistic enclosed test areas. One enclosure is for water/glycol testing and the other is for hydraulic testing.

Chant Model 30102 Hydrostatic  Test Bunker has an HPU which includes one “chuffer” style, pressure amplifying pump. This pump is powered from site-supplied compressed air. The pump is sized to get the test specimen to pressure as efficiently as possible. 

Model 30102 is a machine used in pressure testing operations.  Test loads for the product are entered through the touch screen. In automatic mode, test recipes will be entered by an AMP server, after the user enters the test information. Fully manual operation is available by selecting that mode of operation.

The Small Pipe Test Enclosure is designed to completely enclose specimens being tested up to the maximum pressure output of the Hydraulic Pressure Unit, 15,500 PSI.

Chant  Model 30107 Hydrostatic Test Bunker has a HPU which includes two “chuffer” style, pressure amplifying pumps. These pumps are powered from site-supplied compressed air. The pumps are sized to get the test specimen to pressure as efficiently as possible.

Model 30107 is a machine used in pressure testing operations.  Test pressures for the product are entered through the touch screen. In automatic mode, test recipes will be entered by an AMP server, after the user enters the test information. Fully manual operation is available by selecting that mode of operation.

The Large Pipe Test Enclosure is designed to completely enclose specimens being tested up to the maximum pressure output of the Hydraulic Pressure Unit, 15,500 PSI.

Chant Model 14174 Hydrostatic Test Bunker can pressure test up to 15,000 psi. The pump we have selected is a pneumatic diaphragm pump driven by compressed air that you will have on site.  Control of the system will be from an industrial touch screen and all test data will be stored.

  • Test cell required dimensions are 22’W X 18’D X 10.5’H
  • Pressure test cell is designed to withstand 1.5 times the maximum test pressure of 15,000 PSI
  • Pressure test cell is fully enclosed on all sides, including top, sides, ends, joints, and doors
  • Test cell allows for opening the front and roof of the cell simultaneously to allow for use of overhead bridge crane in building for installation of the pump in the test cell
  • Exposed holes and gaps are covered to allow for a maximum ¼” gap
  • A locking mechanism is incorporated to prevent doors from being opened while any pressure is on the part or lines

The Chant Engineering Model 30328-01 is a 60,000 PSI Hydrostatic Test Bunker and is used for research and development testing of various pieces of high pressure equipment.  The Test Bunker consists of four major components: the Bunker Frame, the Left Bunker Door, the Right Bunker Door, and the High Pressure Panel.

The Manifold Test Enclosure, Chant Model 30372, consists of 2 test chambers, 2 hydraulic power units, and 2 remote control touchscreen consoles with Chant Datatest software.

The test enclosure has been designed to safely contain tests run under the parameters for pressure, volume, etc. listed in the table above, “Product Specifications.”

Model 30100 is a machine used in pressure testing operations.  Test loads for the product are entered through the touch screen. In automatic mode, test recipes will be entered by an AMP server, after the user enters the test information. Fully manual operation is available by selecting that mode of operation.
