Do you offer calibration services?
Absolutely! We offer On-Site Calibration Service to our customers.
Chant Engineering is a nationally recognized ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited calibration facility with precision calibration equipment traceable back to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Our equipment is calibrated to ASTM-E74, which allows us to calibrate your equipment to ASTM-E4, the equivalent to ISO-7500. We can calibrate load cells from 1,000 lbs. up to 3.3 million lbs. in compression, and 40 lbs. up to 1.5 million lbs. in tension.

Do you offer training?
Yes, can provide on-site and remote training, as requested.
Our on-site training includes a training specialist coming onsite to your location and quickly and properly train your staff. During our on-site training session, we will provide in-depth, hands-on training to show your staff how to safely and efficiently operate your machinery.

Does your machinery offer touch screen controls?
Yes. The Chant Engineering Touch Screen has an easy-to-use operator interface for your testing machine. The operator simply selects the desired load and the machine automatically tests the specimen to the inputted load. What's the longest test specimen a Chant prooftest machine can test?
Unlimited, see above.
Can additional frame sections be added to a prooftest machine?
Yes, we can add as many additional sections as your space and budget will allow.
Can your prooftest machines test synthetic rope?
Yes, depending on options our machines can test proof, break and cycle test fiber rope.
Can you test shackles?
Yes, our machines can test all types of rigging gear.

Are wire rope grips available?
